You will have much to do and so much to see. I am here to share some places to visit near Delhi at different distances. Let us start with the places to visit around Delhi within 50 km. In turn, you can get to know places to plan perfect weekend trips. You can drive and reach these places within a 2-3 hour drive from Delhi. 1. Sultanpur National Park:

3. Surajkund:
A small village located around 38 km from Delhi, Surajkund is the home of an artificial lake. The Surajkund International Crafts Mela conducted here attracts people in large numbers. 4. Damdama Lake:
Damdama Lake is also located around 38 km from Delhi. This lake is located near the Aravalli Hills and it is one of the biggest natural lakes in this entire region. 5. Gurgaon:
Gurgaon is a city located around 34 km from Delhi. It is one of the modern metropolis cities near Delhi. It has a lot of places irrespective of whether you are religious, adventure lover, nature lover or a foodie. Gurgaon otherwise called Gurugram is a shopping heaven for shopping enthusiasts. Yes, the city alone has nearly 80 shopping malls.
The Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary is located close to Gurgaon. A visit to this sanctuary is one of the top things to do in Gurgaon. You can reach this Wildlife Sanctuary quickly from Delhi. The reason is that it is located around 22 km from Delhi. Not only for wildlife but also this sanctuary is popular for its hidden lakes. You can get to see reptiles, birds, and mammals in their natural habitat in this sanctuary. If you love wildlife photography, you will love this place for sure. You can engage in nature walks and can go trekking in this sanctuary. This sanctuary is home to 5 hidden lakes that excite visitors.
7. Tughlaqabad Fort:
The founder of the popular Tughlaq dynasty built this fort back in the 14th Century. This ruined fort is located around 20 km from Delhi. This huge fort was part of a citadel. It has many secret underground tunnels, halls, artificial lakes, residences, and many gates.
This historic fort was a huge stone structure with impregnable walls, bastions, and turrets. You can find tombs of the ruler, his wife, and his son.

10. Kuchesar:
This small village is located around 80 km from Delhi. Mud Fort is the popular thing to explore in this village. This mud fort, to your surprise, was built during the mid-18th century. The Kuchesar Fort, otherwise called the Rao Raj Vilas is a fort that belongs to the 8th century. This village boasts a heritage resort. This resort was established by renovating a part of the family property of Ajit Singh. You will feel as if you have arrived at a heritage spot when you go to this place.
11. Pataudi Palace:
Otherwise called Ibrahim Kothi, this palace belongs to the Royal Pataudi Family. In 1935, Nawab Ibrahim Ali Khan built the palace. For building it, he appointed Robert Tor Russel, who was then a popular architect.
Ibrahim Ali Khan decided that this palace should be built in the style of Colonial Mansions in Delhi. Robert did it as per the wish of his client. The palace spreads over a sprawling area of 25 acres. It is home to attractive fountains, lawns and gardens. So, apart from exploring the palace, you can spend some time on the lawn.
12. Nuh:
The best time to visit this place located around 90 km from Delhi is between October and March. Nuh is a historical city that traces its foundation to the Aryan Civilization. After that, the Tughlaq dynasty ruled this region. It is a modest home with many historical ruins and structures. 14. Botanix Nature Resort:
Located in Gurugram, this resort is for you if you would like to spend some days close to nature. This property is spread over 30 acres. It is not only a farm but also you can engage in some adventure activities here. You have the option to take long walks or you can spend some time in the pool for relaxation.
15. Farrukhnagar:
You can reach Farukh Nagar within a 57 km drive from Delhi. This historical town is in the Gurugram District of Haryana.

19. Neemrana:
Neemrana can be reached within a 120 km drive from Delhi. This place is popular for its huge Neemrana Fort Palace. You can reach this palace within a km of the centre part of Neemrana. When you take your girl child, she will love shopping at Neemrana. The local artisans sell a lot of handmade stuff in the main part of this place. Along with Rajasthan’s famous Ghagra Choli, your little girl can find a lot of trendy accessories here. Not only little girls but also women will love visiting Neemrana for sure. This national park is also called the Keoladeo National Park and it is popular for birdwatching. You will be surprised to know that this National Park is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is spread over 29 km and is locally called Ghana. With its diverse habitats, this national park is home to different bird species. You can also find different lizards, snakes, fish, floral species and turtle species here. For winter breeding, every year, thousands of migratory waterfowl throng this national park.
28. Sariska National Park:
You can cover this place when you visit Alwar in Rajasthan. The reason is that it is rated in the third position among the things to do in Alwar. Otherwise, you can also take a visit to this national park on a separate trip as it is around 203 km from Delhi. You can spend around two to three hours in this park.
