I visited Singapore recently and organized a pub hoping event on Couchsurfing. For the uninitiated, Couchsurfing is a community of travellers who love to meet new travellers or locals at various destinations.
The event organized saw good response and around 10-12 people turned up. We had an amazing time together and I am glad I got to know these spectacular people! In this blog post, I’ll talk about the best nightlife venues to party at in Singapore. I have prepared this from accounts from the locals & other travellers’ experiences!

Singapore is a vast city! It is like an ocean of smart people, who know how to live a life full of zeal & energy! But, the nightlife is concentrated in selected areas and you would find very few nightlife venues throbbing in isolation. Here, I’m listing the best areas in Singapore to party with some popular venues.
Marina Bay
Marina Bay can not only boast amazing nightlife but also spectacular city views from rooftop bars or waterfront views from river side venues. This area is in close to the central business district and hence attracts an amazing crowd, night after night. The area also boasts of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, which is known for the famous rooftop infinity pool. The hotel also offers you a great option for nightlife in form of Ce La Vi.
Some of the other popular & recommend nightlife venues in Marina Bay area are Avalon, Panagea & Level33
Clarke Quay & Raffles Place
Clarke Quay & Raffles Place are areas located at a distance of slightly more than 1 KM from each other and together, they form a massive playground for the party junkie in you! There are plenty of nightlife venues here and it will take many nights to chug beer at all these spots! Clarke Quay doesn’t only consist of clubs playing house & trance but also has jazz clubs and quirky restaurants.
And oh, if you need a little adrenaline before the party starts, indulge in the fun activity of Reverse Bungee!
Some recommended nightlife venues here are Chupito bar (only shots bar), Pump room, Attica & Beer market. There are many other hidden gems in Clarke Quay for the explorer in you.
Arab Street
If Marina Bay, Clarke Quay & Raffles Place are collectively a melting pot of most polished & affluent nightlife in Singapore, Arab Street is known for the roadside breweries & pubs which offer somewhat affordable alcohol. However, when I say affordable, don’t get your hopes too high. Because, well, it’s Singapore! Blu Jazz Café & Bar Stories are some other recommended spots on Arab Street.

Sentosa
Sentosa is famous for the spectacular beaches & the parties there! There are lot of beach bars & clubs at Sentosa for you to spend a whole night at! If a party for you is better on the beach, Sentosa Island is the place to be. Some of the nightlife venues also have a swimming pool for you to jump in! A trip to Sentosa Island at night is surely recommended if you want to let your hair down & have some fun!

Orchard Road & Emerald Hill
Orchard road is another option for you if your priorities are to have some brazen fun without caring about the sophisticated vibe around you. There are plenty of drinking holes & live music bars here, ready to lift your spirits up! You can just explore this area and leave your worries behind, because the vibe of this area will make sure that you have a good time.
