1. Bengaluru Palace:

This palace is one of the best places to visit near Bangalore. It is the home of many popular paintings. For instance, you might have heard about the popular Indian Painter Raja Ravi Varma. 2. Thottikallu Falls:

Thottikallu Falls is located off the Kanakapura Road in the Urban District of Bengaluru. This is one of the places to visit in Bangalore also referred to as TK Falls. This spot is also referred to as Swarnamukhi Falls, which means gold-faced. You will find a small shrine in this spot and it houses two nearby falls. 4. Lalbagh Botanical Garden:

The Lalbagh Botanical Garden is a popular attraction for people living in Bangalore. You can reach this spot within 3.3 km via NH 275 and Double Road. This garden is spread over a sprawling area of 240 acres of land. It houses the largest collection of subtropical and tropical plants in India. 5. Cubbon Park:

Cubbon Park is located in the main part of the city on Kasturba Road. It is right behind the High Court of Karnataka. This part is also called Chamarajendra Park. The entire park is prepped with lush greenery, flowering trees, statues and fountains.

7. Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium:

Via Queens Road, you can reach this Planetarium within 3.1 km. This spot is particularly popular for its Sky Theatre. 22. Chunchi Falls:

During mediaeval times, this spot is believed to be the strategic fortress, where many battles were fought for possessing it. The fort at the hilltop was originally built by Channapa Gowda and you will have to trek to reach the hilltop.

30. Bhairava Durga:

Yes, you have guessed it right. Durga in Kannada means Fort. All those places with the term Durga attached to them have a fort. Most importantly, most of them are located on the hilltop. So, you will have to trek. The same applies to this spot as well located around 62 km from Bangalore. This is one of the 9 durgas skirting Bangalore city.

31. Shivanasamudra Falls:

This place houses twin waterfalls called Gaganachukki and Barachukki. These two are perennial. However, you can expect the best water flow during the monsoon season between July and October.
